Berla Mundi is an award winning Broadcast Journalist who has built a formidable brand that serves as an inspiration to the younger generation, encouraging them to pursue their dreams and attain success in various fields of endeavor. She recently rolled out a new project: ‘B.YOU BY BERLA MUNDI’ a mentorship and career guidance program for young girls in Ghana and has secured internship opportunities as well as some form of media training for these young girls. Berla also runs the Berla Mundi Foundation that caters for underprivileged children in society.

She has managed to position her radio show as the voice of the youth, addressing issues pertaining to their survival and is set to launch a campus tour this September: ‘The Live Girl Code Project’ under Live 91.9fm, to empower tertiary students through workshops and training sessions with successful Ghanaian entrepreneurs.

With over 800,000 followers across Africa with just a little over five(5) years as a Media Personality, having conducted interviews with big personalities including the 2nd lady of Ghana, Mrs.Samira Bawumia, Betty Irabor, CEO of Genevieve Magazine Nigeria, et al, her objective is to become a leading Media brand in and outside Africa, projecting African stories, traditions and values.

In 2016, Avance Media ranked her among the 50 Most Inlfuential Young Ghanaians and in 2017, Africa Youth Awards named her among the 100 Most Influential Young Africans, an initiative instituted to promote African youth movements and achieving and also restoring excellence in the works of young people across Africa.
