His responsibilities are far reaching and encompass public speaking, business consultancy, mentoring, training, coaching as well as informing policy within strategic organisations that are involved in the evolvement of entrepreneurship development, as a key contributor to economic growth. Ekow is not limited to Ghana or the continent of Africa, his work and professional alliances extend to partnerships with UK and USA based associates who together create solutions for Startup & SMEs in building capacity & accessing global markets.

Ekow is the Founder & currently the CEO of The African Network Of Entrepreneurs (TANOE), a social enterprise that seeks among other things to assist African entrepreneurs to build sustainable and globally competitive indigenous businesses. TANOE, being self-funded for the past 7 years, currently runs 9 flagship projects namely; Student & Youth Entrepreneurs’ Network (SYENet), The Startup Network, WomanRising, GirlEmpowered, The SME Network, TANOE Institute, TANOEHub, TANOE Media & TANOE Money . TANOE currently manages The Premium Bank HelpStation, an SME capacity building initiative aimed at making SMEs resilient, high growth and globally competitive with an SME Database of over 10,000 SMEs in Ghana.

In 2017 Africa Youth Awards named him among the 100 Most Influential Young Africans, an initiative instituted to promote African youth movements and achieving and also restoring excellence in the works of young people across Africa.
