Sandile Shezi popularly known as South Africa’s youngest millionaire was born and raised in a township called umlazi of which is where his entrepreneurship journey began. It all started with muffins which he sold to generate pocket money as his grandmother refused to pay him for working in her spaza shop (informal convenience shop in South Africa). It took Sandile Shezi less than 10 years to go from muffins to millions as he got involved in the stock market at the age of 17 in his final year in high school.

The stock market journey was short lived as Sandile Shezi was introduced to the currency market (Forex market) 6 months later. Its only towards the end of his university journey where Sandile Shezi made a bold decision to drop out so that he could focus on his dream of becoming a successful currency trader, of which it’s a decision he does not regret. It was only after becoming successful and having all his friends asking him what he does for a living, when Sandile Shezi decided to establish Global Forex Institute. Global Forex Institute’s sole purpose is to provide quality education on how to trade currencies successfully.

Sandile Shezi’s organization has not only become the biggest in Africa with branches all over, but it has won numerous awards including the leading Forex education provider in Africa award. Its inevitable that with success comes great responsibility which is why Sandile Shezi is also chairman of his own non profit organization called Sandile Shezi Foundation. Although Sandile Shezi has achieved a lot at his age, he strongly believes this is only the beginning.

In 2017 Africa Youth Awards named him among the 100 Most Influential Young Africans, an initiative instituted to promote African youth movements and achieving and also restoring excellence in the works of young people across Africa.
